Agent Skills We Use

An agent skill is a folder containing a SKILL.md file of instructions, sometimes with scripts and reference material, that a coding agent such as Claude Code loads when a task calls for it. Skills are how people package a repeatable way of working so the agent does it the same way every time.

These are the skills our team has collected on our GitHub account. We did not write them. Every repository below is a fork of a project created by someone else, and each entry credits the original author with a link to the upstream project. Our fork is linked as well. We describe each one in our own words, and the skill counts and licences were checked on 2026-10-10.

Engineering and quality

Matt Pocock's engineering skills

Forty-one small, composable skills from a working developer's own setup, aimed at real engineering rather than one-shot app generation. They cover test-driven development, diagnosing bugs, code review, refactor planning, writing specs and tickets, domain modelling, triage and git safety guardrails. The author's point is that you adapt them rather than follow a fixed process.

Vibe Security

One skill that reviews apps built quickly with AI assistants for the security mistakes those assistants tend to make: hard-coded secrets, missing row-level security, trusting prices sent from the browser and keeping tokens in local storage. It loads rules for the technologies a project actually uses, such as Supabase or Stripe.
